Pat Hutchins' Rosie's Walk
A hen goes on a precarious walk. Rosie's Walk is both written and illustrated by Pat Hutchins. She grew up in a small village in North Yorkshire. It wasn’t until after she moved to New York with her husband that she published her first book, Rosie's Walk, in 1971. A sequel titled Where, Oh Where, is Rosie’s Chick? was published in 2016. Some of the activities in this unit are making a fox collage, going on a walk like Rosie, and making fingerprint bees.
