A young girl claims that making an apple pie is really very easy until she heads to the market to purchase the ingredients and finds that it is closed. She doesn’t let that stop her though. She heads home, packs her suitcase, and begins her travels around the world collecting all the necessary ingredients for her apple pie. Some of the activities in this unit are making apple prints, baking mini apple pies, and illustrating a world map.
