The author Linda Ashman has written more than thirty-five picture books for children. She studied Economics at Rutgers University and then went on to study Urban Planning at UCLA. Linda Ashman writes most of her picture books in rhyme and is also a published poet. Born in New York, she now lives in North Carolina where she is thrilled to be surrounded by woods and the sound of birdsong. The illustrator Jamey Cristoph is a Florida native and finds inspiration for his illustrations in vintage travel posters and advertisements. He studied art and illustration at Ringling College of Art and Design in Florida. He lives and works out of his home in Maryland, and is often accompanied by his two dogs, Spencer and Owen.
